A higher education institution belonging to the State Government of Tamil Nadu having permanent affiliation with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The College discharges its functions in accordance with the rules and regulations provided by Government of TamilNadu. They are amended from time to time through instructions/circulars issued by the Department of Higher Education, Chennai.

The College is playing a lead role for more than 150 years in the upliftment of education of students from rural background. It gives the best to make the students employable and responsible citizens through a modern and quality teaching-learning process and provide them the guidance for progression in life and career.
